Also! For carrying bladed weapons, carry a good pocket sharpener with you, whether that’s a stone, rod, file, or whatever. Blades will dull, so keep that shit sharp! And for God sakes, know what kind of sharpener will work best for your blade, because you can’t sharpen a serrated blade (which I wouldn’t recommend anyways, smooth will slash and chop better but serrated will tear and stick) with a stone or other sharpeners that run along the blade.
